Açai (Euterpe oleracea) is a plant belonging to Arecaceae family of the Brazilian Amazon rainforest. Its berries are one of the most highly rated “superfoods” in the Amazon rainforest. The oil, extracted from the fruit pulp , is moisturizing and extremely nutritious, anti-ageing, rich in anthocyanins, omega 3,6,9, vitamins A, B, C, E, mineral amino acids, polyphenols and phytosterols. It has a high antioxidant power that neutralizes the formation of free radicals. Açai oil increases skin complexion and vitality thanks to the synergy of its bioactive substances contained in quantities 10 times higher than those contained, for example, in red grapes.
Murumuru butter is extracted from the seeds of the palm tree carrying the same name (Astrocaryum Murumuru), originating from Brazil. The white or yellow colored butter has a delicate scent similar to that of cocoa butter. It is a great natural skin care product boasting high cosmetic properties. It is a strong vitamin A concentrate, making it an exceptional antioxidant product. Rich in vitamin F, and essential fatty acids (oleic and linoleic) with emollient properties. It also contains additional essential lauric- myristic- palmitic- stearic- capric and caprylic acids, which keep the skin resilient and hydrated, but not greasy.
Brazil Nut Oil
Brazil Nut (Bertholletia excelsa) is a tree that grows freely in Amazon rainforest, without pesticides, or chemical fertilizers; for this reason it is considered a completely organic beauty product of daily use. Brazil nut’s Oil, obtained by cold pressing the fresh kernel, is emollient, nutritious, rich in phytosterols, beta-sitosterols, tocopherols, vitamins B, C, E, selenium, magnesium and zinc, ideal for dry, dehydrated and delicate skin. It protects against premature aging signs. It also contains beta-carotene that, together with vitamin E increases the production of collagen, making the skin smooth and toned.
Cupuaçu (Theobroma Grandiflorum) is one of the tastiest Amazonian tropical fruits and a close relative of cocoa. Its deliciously creamy pulp has a unique flavour of its own, vaguely similar to a blend of pineapple, banana and cocoa. The butter extracted from it produces a moisturizing effect and is highly moisturizing for face and décolleté skin, making it more resilient. It is very rich in water-soluble B and C vitamins as well as liposoluble vitamins (A, E, D, K). The vitamins contained in Cupuaçu are: C and A, B1, B2 and B3.
Buriti oil is obtained by cold pressing of the seeds of a majestic Amazonian palm, the Mauritia Flexuosa, also called by the indigenous “the Tree of Life” thanks to its many uses. The Buriti oil is red and rich in vitamins A, C and E, but also of Omega 9, an essential fatty acid that promotes the regeneration of the epidermis, maintaining the natural hydration skin. Thanks to the presence of carotenoids (it is the absolute oil with the highest concentration of carotenoids), it boasts strong antioxidant properties, which make it a valid ally against free radicals, responsible for premature ageing.
Andiroba (Carapa Guianensis) is a majestic Amazonian tree; from its fruits an oil is extracted with great anti-inflammatory, nutritious, lenitive, regenerating and invigorating properties. To prepare one liter of oil, it takes about 6 kg of Andiroba’s nuts; following the old, traditional, fully sustainable method, nuts are collected from the rivers, boiled and left macerate two weeks long, in order they do not decompose, lastly they are cold-pressed. Andiroba oil is rich in essential fatty acids, omega 3 and 6 (oleic and linoleic acid) and also contains amounts of myristic, stearic and palmitic acid.
Guarana (Paulinia Cupana) is a climbing plant of the Amazon rainforest that grows mainly along the waterways. From its seeds, valuable extracts are obtained with essential active ingredients, such as coffee and tea containing caffeine, used in cosmetics for its high lipolytic and slimming action. Rich in polyphenols and other beneficial substances such as tannins, vitamins and mineral salts, it is a great anti-wrinkle agent and improves the peripheral circulation of tissues and epidermis. Guarana extracts have a revitalizing and anti-oxidizing effect and anti-age properties.
It is a vegetal active extracted from a South America plant, namely the Anadenanthera Colubrina, which is rich in Arabinogalattani, namely polysaccharides that promote skin hydration by means of a water distribution and maintenance mechanism. It acts on the main causes of skin dryness, by stimulating the production of barrier proteins, wrappers and filaggravin. It ensures the water supply to the epidermis and increases the production of collagen and elastin, helping to make the skin younger.
