The active ingredients, the extracts, the oils and the butter from Amazonian plants are pure and completely organic since they come to us from the largest “green lung” in the world and from organic cultivations that are free from chemical treatments or manipulations. In the Amazon forest, uncontaminated purity has always been its natural virtue.

For our cosmetics, sourced from the Amazon rainforest, we have found the active ingredients with documented efficacy as they come from healthy and intact fruits and plants, where oils and butter are obtained with natural extraction processes that guarantee high quality.

The Açai (Euterpe oleracea) is a plant of the Arecaceae family present in the Brazilian Amazon rainforest. Its berries are one of the most highly rated “superfoods” in the Amazon rainforest. The oil, extracted from the fruit pulp, is moisturising and extremely nutritious, anti-ageing, rich in anthocyanin, omega 3,6,9, vitamins A, B, C, E, mineral amino acids, polyphenols and phytosterols. It has a high antioxidant power that neutralises the formation of free radicals. Açai oil increases the complexion and vitality of the epidermis thanks to the synergy of these bioactive substances that are contained in quantities 10 times higher than those contained, for example, in red grapes.

The Brazil Nut (Bertholletia excelsa) is a tree that grows freely in in Amazon rainforest, without pesticides, or chemical fertilizers, so it is considered a completely organic product and a beauty product of daily use. The Brazil nut’s Oil, obtained by cold pressing the fresh kernel, is emollient, nutritious, rich in phytosterols, beta-sitosterol, tocopherols, vitamin B, C, E, selenium, magnesium and zinc, ideal for those who have dry, dehydrated and delicate skin. It protects against premature aging signs. It also contains beta-carotene that together with vitamin E increases the production of collagen, making the skin smooth and toned.

The Andiroba (Carapa Guianensis) is a majestic Amazonian tree from the fruits of which an oil is extracted with great anti-inflammatory, nutritious, lenitive, regenerating and invigorating properties. To prepare one litre of oil, it takes about 6 kg of Andiroba’s nuts; following the old, traditional, fully sustainable method, they collect the nuts from the rivers, boil them and leave them to macerate for two weeks, so that they do not decompose and then they are cold-pressed. Andiroba oil is rich in essential fatty acids, omega 3 and 6 (oleic acid and linoleic acid) and also contains amounts of myristic, stearic and palmitic acid.

Murumuru butter is sourced from the seeds of the palm tree of the same name (Astrocaryum Murumuru), originating from Brazil. The white or yellow coloured butter has a delicate scent that is similar to that of cocoa butter. It is a great natural skin care product and boasts important cosmetic properties. It is a strong vitamin A concentrate, which makes it an exceptional antioxidant. Rich in vitamin F, and essential fatty acids (oleic and linoleic), which have emollient properties. It also contains other important acids such as lauric acid, myristic acid, palmitic acid, stearic acid, capric acid and caprylic acid, which keep the skin resilient and hydrated, but not greasy.

The Cupuaçu (Theobroma cacao) is one of the tastiest tropical fruits of the Amazon and a close relative of cocoa. Its deliciously creamy pulp has a unique flavour of its own that is vaguely similar to a blend of pineapple, banana and cocoa. The oil sourced from it produces a moisturising effect and is highly moisturising for facial skin and skin in the decollete area, making the skin more resilient. It is very rich in water-soluble vitamins of group B and vitamin C, and that of liposoluble vitamins (vitamins A, E, D, K). The vitamins contained in Cupuaçu are: C and A, B1, B2 and B3.

Guarana (Paulinia Cupana) is a climbing plant in the Amazon rainforest that grows predominantly along the waterways.
From the seeds of the plant of the same name, valuable extracts are obtained from the most important active ingredients, such as coffee and tea containing caffeine, a substance used in cosmetics for its high lipolytic and slimming action. Rich in polyphenols and other beneficial substances such as tannins, vitamins and mineral salts, it is a great anti-wrinkle agent and improves the peripheral circulation of tissues and epidermis. The extracts of Guarana are revitalising and anti-oxidising, and this gives them anti-aging properties.
